Week 40 Freight Updates

October 2nd, 2020

The following advisory is for all of Kesco’s customers and partners:

On Monday, Sept. 28, CMA CGM announced its servers were affected by a ransomware attack, but at the time, the carrier indicated its systems would quickly return online.

Unfortunately, over the last 48 hours, it has become apparent that CMA’s back-office systems remain severely impacted in ways that include preventing the successful dispatch of arrival notices and assignment of pickup numbers.

Because of this, we are advising all clients with containers on the water, or at the port, to expect delays.
